I remember with a great deal of fondness and admiration the many times Ralph came to Roffey Park to work with the MSc groups. Groups would leave unsettled, provoked and stretched for the encounter. I saw many students changed deeply by Ralph’s challenge, as he eloquently and slightly mischievously dispelled the myths of the management discourse that so many well intentioned people take on through working life without considering their basis or implications. Until they met Ralph. I will miss his fire, his wit and the twinkle in his eye.
