Ralph's classic book was a huge inspiration and encouragement to me. It influenced and defined my life thereafter. He was hugely helpful in my research and yet modestly wondered why I wanted to interview him! Such sad news. Yet the considerable ripples of his influence will continue to help many people work with the dynamics of complexity.
